Perrenial, impressively tall ornamental grass. Under favourable growing conditions, can reach height of 4 meters. Produces 30-40 cm long flower clusters. plant maintains ornamental nature all year long. Grows best in open, sunny location. Under favourlable growing conditions, the plant spreads quickly. Should be covered for wintering or dug out and kept indoors.
Under good growing conditions, it reaches a height of 4 m, monumentally rises above the rest of the plants in the garden. Leaves are mostly basal, linear, wide, gray-green.
Very beautiful, thanks to large silky panicles, consisting of small spikelets, which makes the inflorescences appear silvery-pink. Inflorescences are not afraid of cold or snow, decorating the garden from the end to the beginning of the season.
Used in group plantings, you can decorate the lawn, the edge, the open terrace, the shore of the reservoir. Inflorescences are widely used for cutting as well as fresh or dried.
AGROTECHNIСS: requires well-cultivated and relatively fertile soils, thermophilic, drought-resistant, needs bright lighting. Seeds are sown in early spring. In areas with a cool climate, cover for the winter. It quickly grows into whole plantations. It is imperative to remove old yellowed leaves annually as they clog the center of the curtain. It is better not to touch beautiful peduncles of pampas grass at the beginning of the growing season.
